Flying Scot
This is a special request project and the second one of her kind that I have created.
Sails and Final Details:
The sails are made of white calligraphy paper without acid. One thing that identifies the Flying Scot is the FS label on the sail and the personal number. Batons are indicated as well as the seam lines of the sail. Main sail and jib have the clear window typical of these small racing boats.
This one in particular has a black boot stripe and the owner has a red and green line running down each side of the deck.

So, this is the tricky part, and it seems that putting the ship in the bottle is always getting more difficult because my boats are getting finer.
Passing the hull beyond the narrow part of the bottle neck was a challenge, and a good bit of controlled force was required to push the little boat in. Eventually, I was able it worked and with my piece of bent wire (seen below), I hoisted the sails and went on the do the little bit of work inside the bottle.
